About Us

Perhaps you are curious about why I founded the brand ‘URGARMENT’. Before establishing my brand, I constantly struggled to find fashionable and high-quality abaya and kaftan dresses. This was also a frequent topic of discussion among my friends. Due to the unique nature of traditional ethnic attire, these garments are not like mainstream women’s fashion, which can easily be found in a wide range of styles across various websites. To make it easier for customers to discover new styles of abaya and kaftan dresses, I identified manufacturers supplying products directly from the source and secured their authorized distributorship. After centralized sourcing, we began offering these products to our customers.

Under these circumstances, I established Guangzhou Guanghong Network Technology Co., Ltd. in Panyu, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, in 2021, and launched the website urgarment.com. The brand ‘URGARMENT’ was officially registered in 2025. To better serve our international customers, we registered the UK company URGARMENT LIMITED in October 2023. Both companies are owners and operators of the ‘URGARMENT’ brand.

Under this brand, we are committed to providing every customer with premium products and exceptional service.

2021 - Guangzhou Guanghong Network Technology Co., Ltd. was officially established in Panyu, Guangzhou. We have commenced the gradual sale of traditional abaya dresses. 

For logistics, we have chosen to partner with YunExpress for order fulfillment.

2022 - We are progressively expanding our collection to include abaya and kaftan dresses infused with modern design elements.

 

2023 - We have enhanced our product portfolio by introducing comprehensive categories, including burkinis, men's thobes, Arab kids' clothing, hijabs, other traditional clothing accessories, pajamas, and related items. On the logistics front, we have partnered with SF International (SF-Express) to provide additional shipping solutions for order deliveries. Concurrently, we have officially registered our UK entity under the name URGARMENT LIMITED.

2024 - We have officially applied for the registration of the 'URGARMENT' trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

 

2025 - The 'URGARMENT' trademark has been officially registered and granted.
