The Bisht Sheikh

Bisht Sheikh is a traditional Arab men’s cloak often worn for prestige on special occasions like weddings or official events. It’s typically made of wool or camel hair and is worn over the thobe or dishdasha. The term “Sheikh” refers to the high social status of the person wearing it, as it’s often associated with nobility, scholars, or high-ranking officials.

Currently, Bisht styles are divided into long sleeves and short sleeves, and the main colors are black, white, beige, brown and Tan.
